You may kiss the bride

Last week me, my boyfriend and some of my friends hit the road to Maramures, a beautiful land of Romania, where two friends (who happen to be the most beautiful couple I have ever met) tied the knot.
It was a twelve hour long trip and we got to see Transalpina (one of the most spectacular roads of the Carpathian Mountains with its highest point at 2,145m). Here we lunched in the most traditional way – in a small cabin where a pretty lady was preparing traditional soup in a huge caldron, sausages and polenta. Also, we spend a few days in Baia Mare, a small town in the North of Romania. The surroundings where so beautiful that we spent a lot of time on the road, visiting or just admiring the nature (the sheep flocks were an ordinary sight around there). This small vacation was like a salve for the heart.
The wedding was so much fun, I’ve got to see my friends from Cluj and Baia Mare, dance, sing and make stupid jokes (about each-other of course, our favorite activity).  
This was my first Catholic wedding and it was truly like in the movies. SHE entered the church with her father on Ave Maria singed by her canto teacher. Everything was dreaaaamy! And a little bit tear-stealler. I had to look at the ceiling a few times to cast out my tears.
The wedding dress – Elie Saab!!! – was amazing – but wait! it was the bride that was amazing, with her blonde long hair and blue eyes – and yes, her ELIE SAAB dress that she kept almost intact even though she danced all night long.

This was my outfit – along with my new haircut and a hair do by me. Hope you like it!

As you can see I went for a simple and super comfortable pair of sandals. That’s because I really love to dance and by the half part of the party all the girls were complaining about having feet pain except me.

The dress was a little revealing, but in a mysterious way, which I really loved. The volume cut makes it a super modern, yet comfortable choice for a dancing night. I felt really special in it – also because I’ve got so many compliments for it!

My shoe picks from Victoria46

If you follow my blog from some time you know by now that I don’t really like being in front of the camera and being photographed. But then again, when I was invited by my friend to Victoria 46 ( at the new location on Calea Dorobantilor 126 ) I thought I really want to see myself in those Charlotte Olympia from head to toe.
ADVERTISEMENT: This is not a post for people with a fear of heights!!

I picked six pair of shoes and one pair of boots to try on and obsess about.

The first pair I tried on are Charlotte Olympia glitter pumps.

Sparkles all the way, the make you feel the queen of the night. Perfect to to put a shine on a LBD or to any other uni colored dress …

These blue velvet Dolly with a detachable sparkly white ruffle will make you feel like Marie Antoinette on a ball day. Even if at first I didn’t give them enough credit, after trying them on I got a sense of sexiness and sensuality that I adored.

You must know though, Charlotte Olympia Dolly are not for beginners. You must really have to have walked the miles in high heels to get these right. If not, your risk being mistaken with the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

But if you are a more Esmeralda type of girl and prefer to go modern in some super beautiful high heels I totally recommend Yves Saint Laurent red semi-square toe shoes. I went crazy when I saw these beauties and fell even more in love with them after trying them on.

The ballet style red toe is a true beauty mark that will make you feel beautiful wherever you wear them. With my hand on the heart I can say these are my ultimate favorite from the store.

Keeping things high and going maybe even higher I wanted to try on a Tribtoo pair with an embroidery style print made on a soft leather with scales. Pretty sexy, right?

Even a well devoted fashionista has her limits with high heels. After 9 hours of work, going home in heels and slipping in another pair of heels for a date with your man or dinner with your girls is like hell. That’s why I thank God he (or maybe it was his father Sergio Rossi) ‘invented’ Gianvito Rossi. If you didn’t try on a pair of Gianvito Rossi by now and you love your feet (and your back) these are a MUST in your wardrobe. I know, you’ve heard this before with other products, but these are like butter soft and super comfortable for your feet. They will treat you like you would love a man to treat you at a first date. Gianvito must be a gentleman, protecting a woman but also emphasizing her sexiness at the same time.

If that didn’t convince you, the stiletto heel and the pointed toe is a must-have this season (and not so easy to find) and it also uplifts your sweet bottom without any exercise. Also, Gianvito Rossi’s classic pumps will see you trough more than just one season of fashion.

After exploring the Universe and the stars I thought I should come a little more down to the Earth. First, with a beautiful (ladies, Beautiful!!!) pair of leather mixed with suede booties from Isabel Marant. A modern super sexy hippie would be perfectly happy in them.

At last (but not least) I decided to go comfortable and cute. But that doesn’t mean that I gave up style. No, sir! The precious Charlotte Olympia kitten flats where more than a delight contributing to a fun, yet sexy look.

At the end of my journey (this was more than a regular visit) I was happily exhausted.
