I haven’t seen these Balenciaga rings in a store to compare the prices, but the ones from H&M cost 39,90 lei – which is 8,80 euros. They are pretty cool. The sad thing is that they are equal sizes so you can’t wear them on different fingers. But everybody who saw them wondered where I have them from, so I thought you should know too. I think it’s important to know what you are paying for when you go into stores but also have fun when shopping!

Nu am vazut aceste inele Balenciaga in magazin sa compar exact preturile, dar pe cele de la H&M am dat 39,90 lei. Imi plac foarte mult si pentru ca toata lumea care le-a vazut m-a intrebat de unde le am, m-am gandit sa vi le arat si voua. Singurul minus este faptul ca au aceeasi masura (toate bucatile din poza sunt dintr-un singur set) si nu le poti purta ca in poza de podium, pe degete diferite. Decat daca reusiti sa mai gasiti mai multe seturi de masuri diferite.

E important sa va si distrati atunci cand mergeti la shopping, dar sa mergeti si cu temele facute – adica sa stiti ce cumparati!

The white shoes issue

I’m that type of girl who is really cold in the winter and dresses with the warmest clothes. I don’t get it when I see women in a shirt and a leather jacket at 0°C. So you can imagine I’m a big lover of cosy soft sweaters. This one is so sweet because of the way it was knitted – giving the impression of a print and it feels like a baby blanket on my skin. Just perfect to sport on the weekend, but also over your work attire.

[I kind of love doing my hair on my own because every time when I go to the hair dresser something doesn’t go the way I planned. That is weird for me to say because a few years ago, when I was in College, I had no idea about doing my hair. My best friend Ella was helping me all the time. And she’s the one I have to thank now, because she taught me how to use the hair rollers, a flat and also a curl iron. I can’t say I’m an expert, but I definitely know how to do nice things with my hair, long or medium – how I have it now. And talking about hair – I’m thinking about cutting it again. What do you think? Are you a long or a short hair lover?

I had it really long for more than 10 years and I thought that I will miss it after cutting it. But that didn’t happen at all. At least not yet.]

And now (finally!) back to THE shoes: how do you feel about white shoes? White booties, to be more precise. I didn’t know what to think about this trend at first [because it is a trend!], besides the fact that when I think white shoes I think bridal. But now, I kind of felt for it. I’m in search of a beautiful pair of white sandals for summer. The only problem that kills me is that the streets here in Bucharest are full of dust, and the shoes get dirty so easy. But even so, once it got into my head that I have to have white sandals, I WILL have white sandals. 
Styling tip: For elongated legs try wearing this style of shoes with white trousers.

Or at least pretend is here. I need spring and cherry blossom trees like I need a breath of fresh air – desperately. So I thought to infuse a sense of flowers in my life. And what better way to do that than to change my Iphone case with a pretty girlish sticker? Lately I find myself craving more for accessories than for shoes. I mean, like two or three days don’t pass by that I don’t buy a little something.

This Sword Stack ring is absolutely insane, to die by… I mean for. And even though I find the price tag a bit… outrageous, I couldn’t stop to share it with you. I don’t know why I love it first. Is is because of the ring on ring design, is it for the beautiful golden touch, or maybe because of the precious Lady Kill dagger?! One thing is sure: it’s perfect for when you are walking the streets alone by night, to punch (in self defense, of course) someone in the eye with it!

Spring shoes on a budget

This week I’m planning the Spring subjects for the magazines I’m working on and also for the blog. So I’m reviewing many fashion shows and doing a lot of reading on trends and everything new in this fresh year. After putting my thoughts in order I got to thinking about the shoes of 2013. Shoes will be so much about statement this year! About changing the entire outfit and telling the world what’s your style like. And because I wanted this post to be more about shopping than just craving – I did a lot of that too – I thought I should pick some shoes that are a great add to your wardrobe, but are also affordable.

The ankle strap. From thin to super wide, even if it’s difficult to wear and can turn a good outfit into a mess, this type of shoe can’t be avoided for spring. It’s everywhere! You just have to choose it wisely: thin for shorter silhouettes and thinker legs (actually, preferably, just don’t choose this style!) and wider for long thin legs.

If you’re not that bold, but still want to get the sexy look the Mise en cage style is a good alternative. It’s a perfect pick for a night out with the girls, trying to get some guys attention. It says “I’m confident and powerful!”.

Sneakers. Sport clothing is still going strong this season. Designer Isabel Marant had sneakers hitting the runway since last season. I personally didn’t think this trend will resist, but these wedged super cool sneakers are so hot to style with mini skirts or cropped pants.
